Intake

​

• Our staff will receive and tag your items with a Consignor Code specific to you.

• Your items will either be brought directly into our showroom or stored until your assigned auction.

• You will be asked to fill out and sign our Consignor Contract.

Cataloguing

​

• Your items will be inventoried, inspected, described, and valued.

  • We determine and set the selling price of all items by way of "fair market value" and selling pricing, and by using the best discretion on selling price trends and/or estimate for online sales. All items shall be sold "AS IS" and without warranty of any kind, expressed or implied.

• Any additional research or appraising required will be completed as needed. You will receive a detailed list of your consigned items 5 days prior to bidding commencing.

Marketing

• Your items will be photographed for our online catalogue to assist with selling.

• Photographs will also be used for marketing on various social media platforms, website, print media, and our extensive client list, etc.

Auction

​

• Your items will be sold through our auction via an online bidding platform called HiBid.

• The online auction runs over 5 days beginning on Tuesday and closing on Sunday at 8PM MST - you can watch!

Post Auction

​

• Following the auction, we will collect all funds and finalize all sales.

• We will provide a detailed consignor report listing the sale and commission of each item.

  • The commission owing to Frank Halls Appraisals and Estate Sales for this contract is 30% plus GST. If any items are excluded from that they will be listed below with the agreed upon commission. There is a minimum of $35.00 commission plus GST per lot.

  • Additional Fees and Expenses. If a sale/item requires extraordinary services before or after the sale, we will perform specified work with your prior permission, cost to be deducted from your proceeds. All additional expenses will be agreed to in writing prior to service(s) being performed.

• Unsold items will either be returned to you, donated for a tax receipt, or stored for a future sale; you will receive an email informing you and requesting direction.

• Consignor cheques will be available 10 days following the close of the sale.
